Leading Sydney based sailing holiday specialist, Mariner Boating Holidays has opened a marketing office in the prestigious Docklands precinct in Melbourne . Managing Director Trevor Joyce said today that the move reflects a dramatic increase in business from Victoria . “Although all travel processing will still be done in Sydney the office in Melbourne will give us much better contact with the market”, Trevor added.

Mariner Boating Holidays has over the last 5 years successfully developed a series of yacht rallies in some of the most exotic cruising grounds of the world and in 2007 the program includes ’s Whitsundays, Tahiti, Sardinia and Corsica . These rallies combine a little racing for those with a competitive streak with enough cruising, site seeing and other cultural activities to create a balanced holiday. This is reflected now in the typical 50:50 ratio of men to women, uncommon at most yachting events.
