Club Marine Sail Boat Show

The 8th Melbourne Club Marine Sail Boat Show will be held over 3 days from Friday 23rd March – Sunday 25th March 2007.  The show is a major industry event totally dedicated to all those people who have a love of the sea and wind in their sails.
The show is an annual event that is usually held at Sandringham Yacht Club (SYC) but during this time next year SYC will be redeveloping the new SYC Clubhouse together with provision for additional car parking.

Given the Club is likely to be a construction site during the proposed dates outlined for the 2007 event, SYC have negotiated to stage the show at Waterfront City in the Melbourne Docklands for one year only.

The Melbourne Club Marine Sail Boat Show will be part of the Melbourne - Osaka Boat Week which will also include school excursions, fashion shows, boat rallies, a concert & fireworks.  The Melbourne Osaka Yacht Race is a 5,500 nautical miles epic journey that runs every four years, pitting man and boat against the power of the ocean.  The Melbourne Osaka Yacht Race will begin on Sunday March 25th.
