Scott Eccleston

Executive Director

Scott's experience includes eight years as Chief Executive Officer at Sandringham Yacht Club (SYC). During this time Scott was instrumental in developing SYC into the largest marina in Victoria and subsequently the most successful Yacht Club in Australia.

Scott boasts over 20 years of extensive experience in various areas of the hotel industry in the Asia Pacific region. He has consulted to, or been involved in a number of hotel projects world wide and his client list includes names such as Hilton Hotels, Hyatt Hotels and Resorts, Shangri-La Hotels, Holiday Inn Hotels, Mandarin Oriental Hotels, PriceWaterhouseCoopers, and a number of smaller hotel chains and marina and yacht club complexes.

 

Renee Greaves

Executive Partner

With extensice domestic and international experience in operations and sales and marketing of boutique hotels, Renee is a revenue focused, driven leader. Renee's key strengths lie in corporate, inbound and leisure marketing, and she has extensive contact with local and federal tourism bodies.

Prior to commencing employment with LeisureCorp, Renee was the Director of Sales and Marketing for Cbus Properties and was responsible for the Victorian and NSW portfolio.

Proceeding this, Renee spent seven years overseeing the product development and sales and marketing for Australia's only 5 star Relais Chateaux Hotel, Chateau Yering Yarra Valley.

 

Kelly Read

Executive Manager Finance and Administration

Kelly joins LeisureCorp after successfully running her own Real Estate Business in the Manningham area.

With a wide range of experiences in all facets of managing a small busy office, her career has sprung from accounting and business studies focusing on business accounting, commerce and marketing.

Kelly brings to LeisureCorp a holistic business approach and a wealth of experience which includes starting her own business from the ground up.

She offers a personal, honest and fresh approach to her role, and is extremely focused on achieving high standards in all aspects of her work. 

 

Bianca Garo

Sales and Events Executive

Prior to commencing employment with LeisureCorp, Bianca worked in Rooms Division at Melbourne's leading boutique hotel, Hotel Lindrum.

With a number of years experience in a management capacity, along with various sales roles in both the retail and hospitality sectors, Bianca's experience is diverse and valuable.

Bianca also has an international background which includes both studying and living in Sweden, Switzerland and Germany and speaks fluent German, Swiss and Swedish.

Bianca's studies include a course in Public Relations and Event Management. 

 

Mark Turnbull

Consultant - Development & Planning

Sydney 2000 Olympic Gold Medalist, Mark Turnbull provides Project & Strategic Management Consulting services to LeisureCorp through his company MDT Consulting Pty Ltd.  Mark was one of LeisureCorps first clients as Operations Manager of the Melbourne Stopover of the 2005/06 Volvo Ocean Race and since that time, Mark and Leisurecorp have continued a succesful association and provide expertise and consulting services in strategic management, event risk management, feasibility studies, project management and operations in the development of marina facilities.

Mark has tertiary qualifications in Project and Construction Management (B.PD and B.Bldg from the University of Melbourne ) and has worked for both corporate and government clients working for Sinclair Knight Merz (SKM) before embarking to fulfil his dream of Olympic success.

In 1996, Mark teamed up with Atlanta Olympian Tom King on a long and ultimately successful journey, which saw them on the backdrop of Sydney Harbour create history and win the first Australian Olympic Gold Medal in sailing for 28 years.  Their success was further capped off by being the first Australian team to win a World Championship in the 470 class.  Following this success, Mark has kept an active role in Sports Administration, with the Victorian Olympic Council, Victorian Institute of Sport, Yachting Australia, Yachting Victoria and the Victorian Major Events Company.  He is currently the Chairman of the ISAF Sailing World Cup event hosted at Sail Melbourne, a Victorian Major Event.

Following his retirement from professional sailing in 2003, Mark resumed a career in Project Management and in 2005 undertook the role of Operations Manager for the Melbourne Stopover of the Volvo Ocean Race for two years.  After closing out this event, he returned to management consulting with Indec Consulting and has worked as Program Manager for the Department of Education, Capital Works Program ($500M+ p.a.).

Now with a close relationship with LeisureCorp, Mark & MDT Consulting provide further expertise and experience to LeisureCorp's marina development consulting team.
